Berda is very intelligent with high drive and is eager to please. These qualities make training enjoyable and something her owner looks forward to. Her braunchimmel (Brown Roan) coat always gets her complements and turns heads everywhere she goes. She is an excellent female, confident and friendly. Typical female head with medium brown eyes. She is 53 cm at the whither and weighs roughly 39 lbs. Excellent hips scoring HD-A & HQ-1.00 Although many people that meet Berda are impressed with her looks, her natural ability and desire to work are what people remember after a hunt with this spunky girl. She is not easily discouraged and will continue to hunt or search for fallen game regardless of conditions.
Berda completed the NAVDHA NA test at 6 months old with a Prize I. She has completed all of the JGHV tests, with both the VJP & HZP tests ranking her in the excellent category. She ran her VGP at 4-1/2 weeks pregnant with the A litter and was able to Prize after difficult blood tracking conditions.
The adventure continued as we took Berda to Germany to run the International Bundes VGP in October 2019 near Contwig, Germany. Ryan and Berda spent the whole summer training, preparing for the test. They had a fantastic score going with perfect on the forest and field work but ultimately failed on the blind retrieve, even without the water work points they had a score of 293 without finishing the test which is a testament to the work they put in over the summer. The test was only 2 days of our 11 day adventure. We got the opportunity to train a few different groups in different parts of Germany it was an amazing experience.
