Our Classic Kleine Munsterlanders provide the foot hunter with a powerful, personable, versatile hunting and family partner. As members of Kleine Munsterlander Group North America we test and approve breeding stock based on the standards established by the German Parent Breed Organization.
The wait time for a puppy from a KlM-GNA breeder can be long, (1-3 years) the breeding program in North America is young. To fully qualify a dog for breeding takes about 2 years which includes 2 performance hunt tests, breed show where conformation is judged, and health tests, including hips and ureter screening and the dog must be marked "laut" or loud (bark on fur game.) KlM-GNA's current focus is to qualify more dogs for the breeding program. Along with qualify dogs, handlers that want to breed need to be approved for a kennel that is registered through Germany. More information can be found by clicking on the Kleine Munsterlander Group North America icon below or KLM-GNA tab.
We also work closely Jim Julson from Colman, SD, who has been our mentor since we purchase our 1st Kleine Munsterlander "Berda" Jim has a long history with the breed and loves to share his love of this amazing versatile breed to anyone who will lend him and ear.
